My name is Nancy Lam. I am currently attending the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA), studying Fine Arts. My influences include Peter Pan, Lord of the Rings, Roald Dahl, Samuel Beckett, Michel Gondry, Tchaikovsky, Amélie, Narnia, and Jean-Paul Sartre. But most importantly, I am inspired by touch, taste, sound, smell, and sight. The world is my playground! I am a girl of no great significance or consequence, but that should never be enough to stop someone from daydreaming, imagining, creating, living. My greatest aspiration is happiness. :)

My work is an exploration of the human condition, with an emphasis on the curiosity of a fragile loneliness and beauty. This is explored through fantastical images (grounded in reality) that teleports the mind to draw out very individual experiences and emotions.
